He might be trying to deal with his feelings over it. Now that things are real, he may have second thoughts or fears or something like that. My husband was extatic when we got pregnant the first time, but we've lost two in between and now I'm 6 weeks, so he is cautious to let his emotions get involved. He's happy, but until we pass the times of losing the other two, he probably won't really get excited about it.

What you are feeling is completly normal. I found out I was pregnant at walmart. My husband could not wait. After the annoucements, we cried and laughed and did our groceries. lol Theres no set time to this. I am sure he is dealing with this news in a strange way but as soon as you start showing, that big round belly will get his attention.

Guys are guys..they dont feel the emotional bond till much later than women. Sometimes not even till the baby is here. You can't fault them for it. It's what makes them "special" ;) My husband didn't really act "connected" till he could feel my tummy and feel baby kick. Let him be for a bit..he might need time to absorb the big news. You'll probably find as the pregnancy continues you will have many different emotions as well. Its part of pregnancy! Enjoy ;)

Girl do not worry man will never feel as excited as a woman when it comes to this type of thing.plus some do not know how to express their feelings ,so if you talk to him let him know that you are about to engage on a trip where your hormones will make you soooooooooooooo sensitive that he should at least try to make you feel good about being preg.

Men are very different than women. Remember this and your marriage will be much better. Men are visual people and women are more emotional. In other words we feel that we are pregnant and get excited, it won't hit home with him until he sees the baby even though he sees your big belly it still won't register

guess you now know what the rest of your life will be like with him.
I am sure he is happy about it, but he's already moved on to the next activity. Sounds like you should have worked out your communication problems way before getting pregnant and for that fact engaged.

Don't worry, just let him be! He is in a state of shock that you told him! It is no biggie! My husband was like that with both our kids! But now he wouldn't trade our son for nothing and i think he is more excited for our daughter to get here. Just give him space!

Men will be men...I'm sure I probably would have gotten pissed, but, I'm not sure how I would react to that. You should tell him how you felt about it, after all, he's going to have to be dealing with alot of screwed up emotions the next 9 months! Congradulations on your baby!

Girl, he's probably shocked! And probably wanted some input from his friend. I wouldn't be mad if I were you BECAUSE during your pregnancy you might do A LOT of things that make him mad, lol, and if you want understandingness, you have to give it.
