He has signed on to produce the next film, and I think that's terrific. All that's really known right now is a little poster art, but it SEEMS to indicate that the story will take place in the early Kirk era. Hopefully it will focus on another Constitution class starship, and not the a re-casting of the old crew.

I've enjoyed all the Star Trek series, so I'd be happy to see a new series. Any Star Trek is better than no Star Trek, although The Next Generation was my favorite.

I don't think that its a very smart thing to do. Lost is a good show, but I don't think that his creativity is the type to do Star Trek justice.

I don't think it'll turn out well. I like J.J. Abrams, but him and Star Trek--it just doesn't seem right.

I think J.J. Abrams is a very talented creator and he will do it with respect for the original.

Wait and see, but tell him to stick to Lost at the moment and make the seasons more exciting!

There is little or no imagination in Hollywood. That's why there are so many remakes of old movies and TV shows.
