My ex was a driver for a long time and he was always worried about me even going into a truckstop alone (so sweet, I know). He said they mostly kept to themselves. He said that a lot of female truck drivers would get harrassed--but that is one man's opinion in a sea of other men.

there are hundreds of women drivers out there, have never heard any of them say they had a problem once they knew how to drive, is alot different than your average vehicle, and at truck stop, I sure wouldn't want to be the person messing with a female, there would be more help there than you could ever need

Look for a better job, Its nothing for a Lady to be doing, More of a bull dike job. The fuel stinks, Road food sucks and cost$$$$
