Start with walking first, then gradually move up to jogging. If you are not a runner, it's going to be hard. I would personally go to the gym and use the elliptical machine or the cross trainer. 30mins everyday. To loose 20 lbs in 2 months - you will have to basically starve yourself. a pound a week is more realistic. You need to re-evaluate your diet and caloric intake as well as your exercise routine. Shape.com has awesome suggestions for getting started and a great food journal that will add up your calories and such.

I would start by jogging around the block every morning and evening, then slowly adding in more blocks or other places to run to until you are satisfied with how far you are jogging. Good luck and congratulations on wanting to get in shape!

Try walk run intervals. Walk for a few minutes, then run as long as you comfortably can, even if it's just a minute, then walk again and so on. Do this for twenty minutes or so every other day until you build your strength and are able to run longer and longer intervals between walking. Just don't push yourself too hard at first or you'll get hurt and/or frustrated then quit. Good luck!

Decide how far you want to run (1/2 mile for example) and wear a pedometer which will tell you exactly how far you've gone. Then, each time you run add 1/4 mile. Dont run more than your body can handle, because that will do more harm than good. Not long after this, you will be running in marathons!
