Yes, and it is beautiful. The water falls at Ocho Rios are unreal. The people are very friendly, but they drive like maniacs, and you have to beep your horn before going around the curves in the road (that way if anyone is in the road ahead they will have time to move out of the way). Food is great (Jerk Chicken, awesome). I think the coolest thing was at the Hotel pool bar, the bartender ran out of coconut milk, so he shimmied up a tree and cut a few out, came back down and fixed the drinks. The beaches are unbelievable, and the outdoor markets have the coolest hand carved stuff. I would have to say I
loved it there, I wish we could have stayed longer than the week we were there. I did have a few problems understanding the natives as they speak quickly, but they would just laugh and try to speak slower...

I have been there and would never go back...it is not all beauty and party. It is a depressing place with many people who would cheat their grandmothers out of a buck. Roaches the size of mice, moths the size of bats, families of ten living in tar paper shacks while tourists live in luxery hotels, children working in sugar cane fields using machetes that are larger than them to help support their families. it's really not what you see in the pictures unless you dont leave your resort.
