Ok I'm looking for a shoulder/satchel/messenger bag for school.
But I don't want anything like a rucksack, I only want a shoulder bag with a medium/long, preferably adjustable strap.
It has to hold my PE kit, and maybe some A4 folders, so it has to be big - but not TOO big - and strong.
The last bag I had ripped. It was only £8.
The price: I think £30 is the maximum limit - but even £30 seems a bit steep.
YES, I've looked on eBay for ages, but I've given up on that.
On Saturday, I'm going to town so are there any shops that you can recommend? The shops I see only have fashion bags and handbags which are too small.

Ah yes, I'm in the UK, and my style is sort of rocky and punky. Skater style even?
Thanks.

I'd say go to debenhams because there are Morgan bags there and Pineapple 1s, Warehouse ones and Faith ones. I have a Warehouse one! Try looking on shops on the internet. try places like www.ladyluckrulesok.co.uk I'm not sure if they have bags that would be suitable for you but if you say punky rocky is your style then this would have quirky accessories to match whatever bag you get! lol I think they do bags but I'm not sure. Keep trying ebay. Why don't you get a seperate bag for your PE kit if you can't find any bags that are big enough.

I'm not in the UK so I can't recommend physical stores, but eBags is a great place to look for bags online. I have the Jansport Elefunk, which comes in at just under £30 and there's usually free shipping specials. It's a nice large bag and very sturdy. I can fit a bag lunch, a couple cans of soda, an extra shirt, my purse and several notebooks and still have some room to spare. Even if you don't get that bag, eBags has a really nice selection and I usually find that the prices are better than most places.

There are 3 great bags in Argos, 2 of them are converse and are shoulder bags with adjustable straps and i should think they are big enough for your pe kit and a4 folders and theres an allstar one that is also a shoulder bag and seems big enough.
They are all in the argos book on page 1304 number 10,11 and12.
Oh and there in your price range the all star on eis £16.99
and the converse ones are £12.99 and £14.99

The stores you are looking in locally probably specialize in accessory bags, not school bags.
For style, is this what you are looking for?

If so, maybe check your local business and office supply stores. They usually have some with the briefcases and laptop bags. Look for canvas or vinyl ones, they usually hold up well.
Good Luck!

Wow, those are extreme priced for college bags... yet i might want to bypass with the third one. It seems the biggest and expenses the least. playstation : EDIT - I see those with boho like bags inclusive of those in the links each and each of the time. So i don't believe of you'd be made exciting of in any respect. even with the undeniable fact that i might want to bypass for something more inexpensive.

If you are lookin for a bookbag then a jansport is really good. First of all it is really in style and second of all they have them in all kinds of styles and colors. And the best part of all is that they are totally affordable and found at almost any stores!
