You might not be getting enough deep sleep for some reason. If there are things that are waking you frequently at night this could be the problem. If this is the problem try to limit the problems some how. If that isn't the problem and you are sleeping through the night you need to go to the doctor and find out what is causing you not to be able to get into your deep sleep. It could be because of weight or there could be a more serious problem then that that really needs to be addressed. If you are going through a state of depression this could also be the culprit and it if it has lasted for a long time you need to get some help with that. There is nothing wrong with admitting that the stress is too much. There is something wrong with not dealing with it properly and end up hurting yourself or someone else to try and get rid of the pain. I hope that helps!

There is a condition called sleep apnea. I happen to have it. You can sleep 14 hours a day and still feel tired.
The only "cure" is what is called a CPAP machine. This is a machine that pumps air into your passage way, keeping open the airway.
It takes an overnight study to confirm it, but you might want to discuss it with your doctor.
Good Luck.

you need to eat well and try to live a stress/worry free life, also do some execise to boost your energy level. For the week you have your period you will fill tired no matter what, but the week before your period usually you should feel more energetic to get a lot things done. Hope you feel better soon.

actually, you may be getting too much sleep. 8 hours is the standard, but most doctors will tell you that people need varying amounts of sleep. I function best on about 6.5, 7 hours of sleep.

also, you may be sleeping for 8 hours, but it's not restful sleep. you may be a light sleeper, or you are uncomfortable (wrong pillow, bed too hard/soft, room too hot/cold).
