the best OTC treatment for yeast infections is monistat 3 days. the pack that includes the anti-Itch cream and the 3 day treatment. please also have no intercourse during this time and you may want to think about your partner as well. do not try to over-disinfect your self, the secret is biological balance. So, when you were giving an antibiotic for something, that throws this balance off and you end up with a yeast infection.

If you've never had one before, you need to see your doctor, there are many things that look like a yeast infection, but are more serious.

There are several non-prescription lotions and creams for yeast infections, I've usually used Monistat.

I heard cranberry juice, plain yogurt and vinegar. Then I found out that the juice and vinegar is good for your bladder and yogurt for the healthy bacteria in your intestines. A friend in the health field told me that these will work for yeast infections also, but your best bet is to call the doctor! Good luck!!

If the doctor says it really is a yeast infection, they will recommend MONISTAT. It used to be prescription only but is now available over-the-counter.

But you do need to have the doctor make sure that is what it is, first.
