I think its great Im against abortion so I think it is just the most perfect thing if you have an accident! Dont you?

Plan be is a pill that you can take if you have unprotected sex and it will prevent you from getting pregnant! Plan A should be a condom and plan C is usually an abortion

I dont support unprotected sex I would encourage any girl to pactice abstanance but the truth is they dont and they do get pregnant and maybe Im wrong but I think Preventing a pregnancy a few days after sex is far better than waiting three months when the baby has a heart and is truly a little person. Its not right and I dont believe I would ever have a need for it but I would encourage any woman who could be pregnant and doesnt want it to hurry and get this before another baby has to die! It doesnt prevent Aids or any other STD thats why everyone SHOULD use protection!!

Differences between the morning-after pill and the abortion pill, which are different drugs:

The morning-after pill prevents pregnancy but has no effect if a woman already is pregnant. Sold under the brand name Plan B, it's a higher-than-normal dose of a hormone found in regular birth-control pills and prevents ovulation or fertilization of an egg. It also may prevent the egg from implanting into the uterus, the medical definition of pregnancy, but recent research suggests that's not likely.

The abortion pill, RU-486 or Mifeprex, can terminate pregnancy up to 49 days after the beginning of the last menstrual cycle. It's a two-pill process. First is Mifeprex, which blocks production of a hormone required to sustain pregnancy. Then a second medicine, misoprostol, to cause contractions and finish the abortion.

The morning after pill is not abortion, I think a lot of people are getting it confused with the Mifeprex pill, which does cause an abortion. It takes time for the embryo to actually be concieved. The morning after pill prevents the sperm from ever coming into contact with the egg at all. If it never comes into contact, there is no life.

I don't believe that women should use this as a regular form of birth control, however. It is dangerous, because the pill has an extremely high dose of hormones, and it does not protect against STDs.

While I am 100% for abortion, I will NOT impose my beliefs on you. I have many "pro-life" friends, but that does not mean we fight or hate eachother. I do not mind pro-life people. The only time I get mad is when they start imposing their beliefs on me, criticising me, etc. As long as there is a mutual agreement that we both are entitled to our own opinions, I can be friends with pro-lifers. Also, they must be open minded and not judge people who do choose abortion. They are allowed to choose to be pro-life and not to have abortions but must also respect the ones who do choose abortion.

Anyway, Emergency Contraception is wonderful. I don't understand how people think it should be a prescription medication. By the time the pregnant woman goes to the doctor to get her prescription, she may already be pregnant! Hospitals are very busy and rarely have next day appointments available.
Emergency Contraception is just a form of birth control just like the standard birth control pills and condoms. It is in no way terminating a pregnancy, it is merely preventing pregnancy from occuring. YES, IT IS BIRTH CONTROL. It is very ignorant of people to say "emergency contraception is a bad choice, you should have used birth control", Well Plan B IS birth control. I don't know how many times to say it but you do NOT get pregnant immediately after having sexual intercourse. I takes a few days for the sperm to reach the egg and implant itself. So in those few days you can use Emergency Contraception to prevent the sperm from reaching to egg to prevent pregnancy! Pregnancy prevention is birth control, NOT abortion! Abortion is pregnancy termination!

By the time somebody gets their prescribed Plan B pills, it will be too late and abortion will be the only option. Is that better?

No!

If Plan B became an abortion pill, females might on no account get pregnant on Seasonal or different comparable hormonal delivery controls. it somewhat is the comparable hormones in a extra physically powerful dose. It does not reason an abortion. It has a failure value, too. while you're taking it too late, wager what, you're pregnant. It does not injury the fetus if it somewhat is taken after implantation. It does not reason the fetus to dislodge and a next abortion. With that suggested, popularity of females over 18 is a step interior the suitable direction. The "a thank you to enforce" arguements are trivial. Condoms have not got a minimum age requirement, TodaySponge does not the two. you do no longer pick parental concent for those. intercourse is a primal urge, basically like eating and respiration, after puberty hits. asserting "NO, undesirable." does not end it from being a primal urge. babies do no longer understand a thank you to administration those urges yet, and attempting to shame them or save them uneducated does not artwork. If abstinance training worked, my graduating type does not have had this type of significant variety of pregnant women interior the direction of the final 4 years of school, and that i went to extreme college in BFE Arkansas, the place blacks and asians are nonetheless chased out of city and theres nonetheless christian golf equipment.

I am happy, I am not pro-abortion here at all and that's why I like this idea so much. If a woman has it in her mind to have an abortion(not want the baby) she will find a way to end it, sooner or late, so why not sooner and not have to kill a baby, I know people will say that this is killing a baby too but I disagree
Good question

I am glad that the pill is available but I do not believe it should be used as an excuse to condone unprotected or underage sex, nor should it be used as a form of birth control.

No, should be..

Plan A = Absence from sex
Plan B = Timing for sex - best protection. no condom needed

If Plan A and B fail, have the baby.. No plan C... Plan c is a murder
