After I'm on the internet (typing away on here and looking at different questions) for 1 hour a window pops up that says I have no activity so its shutting down in 45 seconds and if I want to stay connected I have to push this "resume" button. I have Netzero can I stop this?

hi, there are some virus with your IE browser. i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

Most probably it is your settings of power options
right click on your screen
you should see a popup menu, at the bottom you will see "properties". Click on it.
It will open Display properties box.
select the screen scaver panel
click on the power button, power option properties will open.
There you will find settings to turn off your monitor, hard disk, stand by , hibernte etc.
You can increase the time set , to suit to your needs.
You can select "never" option if you do not want automatic shutdown.

listen man 1st if that just happened then its a virus i had it before but if u were doing stuff on the pc like u were close some programmes or something then u did close some system programmes so don be worry restart ur pc and it will not happene again .

window would hibernate on any program that r not active for a while but wouldn't shut down the program though.
