Can i take a HPT when i'm bleeding/spotting? will it be accurate?

Yes, the blood will not affect the test results.

If you've left it long enough since falling pregnant so the test would work normally then bleeding wont affect the test at all.

Get a blood test done if the pregnancy test says negative just to be sure

if you think you might be pregnant and still bleeding yes you can
the test will still be able to detect the pregnancy ...and if you are you might want to go to the hosp..you might be having a miscarriage or have something like a placenta previa.

Blood doesn't affect the results. A certain hormone in your "stream" does.
