was in the book shop the other day and saw lots of book on keeping a positive out look on life ect. do you keep a positive out look and do you belive it helps, sometimes even if i argue with my friend even over something small i find it hard to keep positive cos i worry so much

I think that what you think - you feel, or what you feel - you think. If you feel miserable or worried, you think this way too. When you do, you go into situations with a pessimistic vision and your outcome will be less compared to a positive approach.

If you practice, you can get a more positive attitude. You have to decide of course. Notice in which situations you worry. Learn to recognise worry-thoughts. When you recognise them, ask your self - is this really worth worrying about? Really? If not, go into the situation not worrying (it sounds easier than it is - I know, but I did this very concious for a while - and it helps). At last - when the situation turns out - it was nothing to worry about. It was all right. Think about this. What was all right. Why? Next time, you'll worry a little less.

Think about this and process the thought:

Is the glass on the table with your favourite drink (milk, water, sodapop, wine - whatever) Is it half full or half empty?

Train yourself to think of it as half full. Drink it and enjoy each mouthfull.

(If your life gives you a lemon - find a lobster to squeeze it on....:-)

I actually got in an argument with a friend form work, I woul dworry but then I think sbout it and he is just mad cuz he had a harder life and hold a grudge with ppl that had more luck ecenomically. So I really don;t worry aobut it, no matter how har dyou try sometime su cant chang epppls views.

But personally, I keep a HUGE positive outlook in life simply becuase mine has been awesome, i even get flashbacks form like 13 yrs ago and I love em and miss em but love my current moment in life. I have just been lucky but I also make the msot out of what God and my family has given me.

keeping a positive outlook in life definately helps, including health wise, stress is useless

in this days life is stressful,your strong u will survive......but if were weak and we give in , we lost the battle. sometimes, i wanted to raised my hand and gave up...But wait a minute theres more beautiful things around us.
it's natural sometimes we find ourselves thinking in a negative way,but keeping ourselves in a positive way it's really help a lot in our health we will live more happier.
