England has a new coach and a bunch of young good players. Beckham leave the team.
France seems more competitive as whole team. Ribery was really impressive. They lost Zidane, but this issue could reveal itself as an advantage, if Domenech would switch to a more offensive 4-4-2 as seen in the last friendly Bosnia match.
2 years are long, especially with so many aging French players, placing a bet now is an hard task. If they would play tomorrow, I should pick France
France 66% England 33%

France - world cup finalist.
England - quarter finalist.
Yeah, we lost Zidane, but Zidane was not the only member on the team. Sure, he was the best, but we still have the deadly Henry and Trezeguet up front, Makelele (the best defensive midfielder in the world apparently), Vieira (a defensive midfielder who scores even though that's not his job), a rock solid defence with Thuram, Sagnol, and all the new kids. We have Ribery, who has proved to be an excellent part of the squad. He improves more and more every match.
I think if Domenech makes a few additions then we'd win hands down. If he gets Gourcuff (a playmaker) and calls back up Faubert, Toulalan, and Mexes, then we're good.

obviously,it is France..England is a great team too, with skillful players like Rooney,Steven G,John Terry and Lamps but England has more to go before it can defeat France..France is undeniably one of the best teams in the world..even without the precious maestro,Zizou,France will still have the better chance of winning against England..somehow,good luck England!!

I'd like to be there.
I'm so partial towards France that I'll always want them to win. At least these two teams are clean when it comes to their way of playing and their tackles. France would have to switch to 4-4-2 and designate Trezeguet and Henry as strickers.
