I am not high risk and my baby is healthy. Although I do suffer from panic attacks...and my work pisses me off to where I am about to just walk out of here. Please help!

I don't want to get paid for nothing.
I don't expect anything from them.
And I don't need the money. My husband supports me enough.

Obviously you are not mature enough to have a child. Grow up, suck it up and don't expect tax payers to support you because your job pisses you off

You cant get a note from your doctor because pregnancy isnt an excuse to not work. Its actually good for you to be active as long as you're healthy.

Your best bet is going to be either sucking it up and making it work out, or just quitting and taking up a different job when the baby comes.

The best thing you may be able to do is to seek "FMLA" assistance and leave of absense or unemployment while you are pregnant.

You want to make your employer aware of your needs and ask HR what your choices are and explain yourself so you are aware of your options and getting over your fears and your company can respect you for your decisions and will welcome you back or grant you what you need.

Best advice is to do some homework, ask your doctor and your employer on what can be done to help you through your pregnancy!

For my wife pregnancy was the best thing that ever happened to her and it was scary when we didn't know what our options were - i was even out of work but we made it and now look forward to the next.

Pregnancy isn't a "sickness", honey.

If you're having panic attacks, you and your Dr need to go over that and he can help you deal with it.

If you're work pisses you off that much, you need to A) resign and find other employment, B) ask that they let you go part-time, or C) maybe grow up?

(Ya know, sometimes I find myself dealing with the fact that things piss me off ... doesn't mean I'm quitting everything I'm doing and letting it get the best of me, though.)

And I'm pregnant, too!

I felt the same way when I was pregnant. But, I stuck it out and worked until the day my water broke (my son was born the next day).

You have to tell yourself that you are working to support your new baby. That should be you're number one concern!

Unless you have health concerns I dont think a doctor can excuse you from work. If work is that difficult, quit. its your choice, but you cannot expect your employer to treat you differently because your pregnant. Guess what, unless you work for a huge company they wont even have to pay you for your maternity leave! I know it sucks but thats life as a female....now quit your whining and work, so the rest of us tax payers dont have to support you.

your question makes it sound like you want him to write a note to keep working! The doc may comply, but don't be too pissy, finding a new job while late in pregnancy, or just after you had one will be tougher than you think!

Usually to get a note from a Doctor all you have to do is ask, you should tell him about work cause when your pregnant your not really supposed to get mad and you should tell him about your panic attacks

I hope you get fired.
Why should you get paid when you are lying about not being able to work ? It is dishonest people like you that give honest women a bad name. Thank God my wife and sisters aren't anything like you.
If you are that unhappy with your job, then get a new one, don't make lies up so you don't have to work.

ask more than 1 doctor, by the 3 or 4th one I think You'll Nail it.

Make up a conplaint that's not testable and related to your work (Say-painfull tenderness around the area related to your workplace-Eg-desks, chairs, counters.

And if the doctor says "why are you not going to your regular doctor, "make up 1 of a hundred obvious excuses"

Like: -On a Vacation.
-You heard some things about him/her and have lost confidence in them
-Exercising my right to a second opinion, Etc.
