after shaving you can apply an antibiotic cream to the area, it is also a good idea and probably the best treatment to take a hot rag and soak the area for ten min. the bumps are caused from dirt getting into the hair follicle. When you shave hair follicles open. So by soaking them the dirt will be pushed out and you can clean the area off

1. Don't shave against the grain of your hair.
2. Use a sensative skin shaving cream - Aveeno is very good.
3. Don't use a plastic disposable razor.
4. Make sure the area you are shaving is wet and has been soaked in warm water for at least a few minutes.
5. Don't shave the same area too frequently.

Ouch..! May be ingrown hairs..? I have the same problem. RIDICULOUSLY painful. It's important to keep the hair follicles really clean, especially after the first few days of having shaved. A WONDERFUL invention is rock salt. Brilliant!!! All you need to do is rub it on the areas (quite hard, feels a little rough at first), and then wash off. It's like exfoliating. Helps prevent the spots and definitely stops them from hurting. REALLY works for me!

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
