nothing wrong if you are just friends but if any kind of physical touching going on that would be wrong you are underage only a minor and the chap would get himself into serious trouble

Fine look seen many go out with this sort of age difference and no peadophilia or abuse of any kind...
What would a 19 year old want with a 15 year old or what would they have in common?
er lets see...
Same music, concerts, movies, bowling, kissing cuddling, you know the same as two 16, a 15 and 16 or two 19 year olds...
its just the 19 year old hasd been around longe. Dont assume he had a massive sex life.
In fact the girl may well have more expe with boys... Guys mature slower and many get 'left behind' so he may still be a virgin...
Also which end of 15?
15 and 11 months is there really any difference between her and a legal 16 year old?
Like is her body going to change that much in a month?
Wahy if he was shy and needy and the girls did not go for him and he could not chat up a hooker with a million quid in his hand?
It all comes down to relationship experience and social maturity...
Ive known many 19 + year olds who could not manipluate a dog into chasing a cat.
people need to stop worrying so much not everyone older is a jerk...
And many 16 year olds and 17 year olds would be far more preditory trying to loose their virginity and scare bed posts... the 19 year old is probably more relaxed and friendly... Many ahng out in mixed groups with mates younger brothers and suisters...
So look for genuine manipulation not whats not there...
But do not the law may not see it so sensibly.
And in the uk the age of concent along with europe mostly is 16.

I like the yhinking put into some of these answers but how many out there are aware of the changes to the statuatory rape laws put into effect in the last 2 years. I agree that she is still underage but whats the dif between a 19 yr old male and a 16 yr old female. One change in the law is statuatory rape is dependent upon the maturity of the youngest partner male or female. If the court rules that the youngest partner is not mature enough then it's RAPE but if he/she is mature enough even at 14 yrs old then it's ok... GO FIGURE. Most states will not allow a 19 yr old to be a cop because one has to be 21 yrs old in order to carry a weapon maybe he's older than 19.

that is not okay. That is statutory rape if you have relations. Only a child molester would go out with a 15 year old. What do you think a 19 year old wants with a 15 year old?

I think at 15, school should come first. A 19 year old should be dating someone around their age.

I think that if you both have feelings for each other it is OK as long as your parents agree. Don't let him get into any trouble for a relationship between you two, if you care about him and he cares about you and your parents are against it you will wait for his sake, he can get in a lot of trouble!! I was in your situation, but worse with the age thing, I was 16 and my boyfriend was 24. My parents weren't happy about it but allowed it. I'm 25 now and we have been married for 5 years and have 2 kids together. Some older men are out for one thing, but not all of them, my marriage is great and we have no issues with being 8 years apart.

the age difference is ok, but maybe if the girl were a bit older, let's say she's 18 and the guy is 22, at 15 u may be a bit immature for the guy, i don't know, if it works then i guess it's alright, but at 15 i'd prefer someone around my age, people are doing it, just don't know if it works in most cases

Probably not a good idea. I went out with older guys when I was 15 and they only wanted the one thing. They thought I was older than I actually was and that I would want that too.
I didn't and so the one date would be the last...

They can date, not problem. The problem comes when the 19 year old isn't willing to wait until the CHILD is old enough for sex. I wouldn't recommend it.
