Has anyone noticed whether or not there is a difference in sensations experienced with PMS and with early pregnancy? I am asking because I had my first IUI done on August 16. Normally, I would have breasts that feel like 2 big bruises right now in anticipation of my period... this usually starts a week before my period is set to start. Instead, right now I have sore, tender nipples. My breasts themselves aren't sore... just the nipples... it's almost a burning sensation when they come into contact with anything... bra, clothes etc.

Serious answers only, please.

Yes, my breasts became much more sensitive when I got pregnant. I even noticed it before I was expecting my period, but it was worse than normal. If you're pregnant and you're like me it will probably get even worse. Try wearing a sports bra to bed, that helped me.

Since you're experiencing symptoms, an early pregnancy test like First Response may show a positive result if you are in fact pregnant. Good luck!

I felt exactly the same for pregnancy as i did for PMS, except it lasted longer. I thought for sure I was pmsing for like three weeks. My nipple hurt during pms and they hurt during pregnancy. Like someone sanded them with a heavy gage paper.
