The 4-Day and 5-Day Hopper Pass
Next comes the hopper passes. Available in a basic 4-day format the hopper pass allows 4-days unrestricted access to the four major theme parks, and allows you to swap between different parks on the same day, so for example you could go into the Magic Kingdom during the morning, nip to Epcot for lunch, and then go on to the Disney MGM Studios for the afternoon in the same day.
As with the 4-day Value pass the 4-day Hopper does not provide access to the minor theme parks such as Pleasure Island, or the three Disney water parks, which require additional tickets.
A variation on the hopper pass, the 5-day World Hopper pass allows 5-days unrestricted access to the four major parks, and allows you to hop between parks, much as the 4-day hopper pass allows. Additionally, the 5-day world hopper allows for up to 7 days unrestricted access to the minor parks, from the time the pass is first used.
This means that you can spend the first seven days of your holiday visiting the minor parks such as the Disney water parks, and still have 5 days access to the major four parks at the end of the holiday, giving a total of 12 days park access, whereas if you start by visiting the major parks, and use 5 days in the major parks, you'll then only have 2-days access to the minor parks remaining on the pass.
The 4-day hopper and 5-day world hopper passes are valid for the lifetime of the purchaser, so if you don't use all of your major park access by the end of your holiday, the remaining days will still be valid for use another year.
Disney's original hopper passes, and world hopper passes are no longer available for purchase, although existing passes are of course still valid for access to the theme parks.

You are able to go from park to park in the same day and have it only count as one admission. If you didn't have the park hopper pass than you can only to to one park. This is especially worth the extra charge if you are staying at a Disney World Resort where the have Extra Magic Hours for different parks every day.
