Is $39.99 the least expensive data plan for Cingular? or is there one they haven't announced?

That's what they tell me, but my current plan is only $19.99. They said in order for me to get a new phone I had to upgrade to the $39.99 plan or convert to pay as you go.

If they had it they would announce it. That is how they get customers which is what they do for a living.
