Your ideal weight is based on your height and age, however if you are already beginning to scare close friends, I'm sure they care a lot about you and maybe you should listen. You can also see a doctor if you are lossing weight to much and to quickly.

It really depends how fast you're losing it, how much you've already lost, and what you weigh now. Could your friends be worried that you possibly have an eating disorder?

The best measure is your body mass index, or BMI. It tells what percentage of your body is fat. Here's a link to a bmi calculator, I don't know how old you are, but if you're a teen, be sure to use the teen calculator.

I would say it all depends on you height. I talked to my doctor to make sure I am the right weight for my height. Usually your friends are a good judgment they see you on the outside and other people have probity said something to your friends. They are just looking out for you

sounds like you might be suffering from body dymorphia or anorexia.....in which you are way too thin but you can't see it...

i would seek professional help (a psychiatrist and a therapist) to get to the bottom of this issue...

good luck!

First it is only safe to loose 2 pounds a week. Trust your friends, they are there to help you. They want to see you healthy.

If your friends are scared, they can't all be wrong. If you can't see it, you might be anorexic. That's a classic symptom-not seeing yourself as you really are or seeing yourself as fat.

Get thee to a doctor!
