Maybe the rates for Disney don't change but does season effect the rates of other things in the area?

There is a value season that occurs during some of the slower months at the resorts. This is when the resort rates are the lowest.

The value season for this year occurs during these dates:
(1/1 - 2/15) (8/27 - 10/4) (11/26 - 12/19)

These are really the best times to go to the parks because it's not very crowded and the weather is much nice in Orlando at that time.

Disney resorts do have a cycle of rates for slower times of year. You can receive this schedule of rates by calling any hotel. It is set at the start of the year and usually doesn't change much. Park tickets never change, but specials are offered for Florida residents. You won't find much effect in other areas of the city, as Orlando is much bigger than just Disney World.

Disney has a value, regular and peak season. Value is the least expensive, regular is a little more and peak is the most expensive. Times around the holidays are going to be the highest, with slower times being the least expensive.

I don't know the dates off the top of my head, but if you ask your travel agent, they will know. The only thing that is different is price is the actual room rate, other than that the rates are the same.

I forgot to add, if I find the dates I will put them here.

park tickets are the same price throughout the year. resort rates fluctuate with the seasons listed above. however, don't expect very small crowds. disney has done so much marketing, and had special promotions and packages that the days of no wait are over, at least for now.
