world bank since the time of inception was thought to be a leftest organisation but in the recent past(a decade or so) has taken a U turn to be a great advocate of the capitalist economical movement. it promotes privatisation, free market economies, NGO, low tariffs and the supremacy of MNCs. do u agree with this statement? whats the reason or this transformation? n can anyone recommend any relevant literature?

This is a clear case of the divergence between theory and practice. The theoretical creation of the World Bank was good, in practice it has merely re-inforced the Capitalist system.

The world bank is to the world like the Federal Reserve is to America. It will act under the pretext of aid and will eventually enslave it.

this is one of those ideas that on paper looks good but in pratice will harm the top nations and the bottom nations around the world .
IT homginizes all money and sets the value of what intrest labor must pay for the right to work .

i cannot recommend..... but its good that such bank exist....poor countries make use of it in a better way n developing countries are into advancement through their funds
