A person’s life is full of dreams. Dream can be about one’s ambition which he gets fulfilled with the passage of time thru his own hard work, intelligence, good planning and with the blessings of Almighty. Another is day dreaming which is really not a good habit and can be controlled with one’s will power. But what about the dreams a person experiences during sleep. Do they hv effect in our real life? What do they mean? What is their interpretation? The person asks to his friends, elders and seniors in his social circle. Sometimes he gets satisfactory reply and sometimes not. These days Internet is a rich source of information. So one does not need to depend on others for one’s dream interpretation. The Yahansmaniac Community member suggests the following.

How do you view "Church"? If it is a place that makes you feel good, I agree that there is a concept here of being in a safe place.

The way you talk about it though, I'm not completely sure. You hitting him with the Bible could be a subconcious way for you to want to "fix" him, or it could be a way that you are seeking protection from God as it relates to him.

The fact that the congregration stood up for you reinforces the "church is a safe place for you" thing. It also suggests you might want to talk to some of your closest friends about being around with you a lot to be your "protection".

If the two of you go to the same church, it also might suggest that you are uncomfortable with that situation and would like some help. It would be good to seek your priest out (or someone) to talk about it and the church specifically, but that's just a guess.

Your mom calling you is significant unless you don't have a father around. If you do, then understanding what your mother means to you would be worth thinking about. Is she your guide? protector? Do you want approval from her? Whatever the connection, it was somehow significant enough that she called you and wasn't at the church.

Overall, the church is often used as an issue of guilt/judgement or safety/protection. Start there... which is it for you? From there, think about why you hit him with the bible. Fix him or get protection from him? Then, why did the congregration stand up for you? To reinforce you are doing the right thing by getting rid of him or because you feel you need people around you for protection?

Cheers.

You mam, obviously hate him and from the look of your question the hatred seems pretty much justified. I would say that the church and the folks could represent something or somebody new coming to your help (certainly not to imply that you are not sufficient for your ex alone). That you had a sound sleep thereafter looks a good omen. If you are looking right now, the dream might symbolize your meeting a great mate soon. I'd recommend you keep your eyes open :).

P.S: As for the abuser bf of yours, he got hit by a bible and by the water; may the poor soul rest in peace.

It seems that your ex is very much in your paradigm still. To me, the church represents a safe place, and the response of you and the congregation to your ex's insistent attention seems to say that you need the help of others and need their support. On a emotional level, this dream seem positive since you are not alone and you have support in a crowd. On the other hand, it seems that you still need to convince youself to let him go, for better or worse....no matter what he did to you, nasty bits and all, it's over.

It appears that your sub-consious is angry because of some form of abuse that you recieved from him.

Lets see - how to break this down - & "DISCLAIMER" this is my interpretation of your dream - only you truly know what it means to you.

You are in a church - so :
1- you have a religous background & are asking for help from your god ... or
2- you aspire to be a stronger woman & be treated like your body is a temple (which it is)
3- the church is sometime regarded as a center of truth - hence the setting is appropriate due to the "lies" he is spreading.

He was trying to touch you & you are pushing him away - so:
1- You must feel as if he is abusing your body - or using you for one pupose - most likely - sex against your will
2- He is physically abusing you - and you are trying to get out of that relationship.
2- You feel like he is keeping you as his personal play thing & does not care about you - you are not emotionally satisfied by him & thus you push him away

Everyone is looking at him - so:
1- People close to you are already telling you to get away - they see what you refuse to acknowledge - you are bieng used.
2- You want to tell someone that you want out - but everyone can see that fact already.

I started hitting him with the bible & throwing his stuff - so:
1- You are finally starting to feel the need to protect yourself.
2- You are ready to shed this person from your life

Then my ex came for me again and everyone at the church stood up for me even the priest who came down with holy water thingy to hit him with - so
1- it is apperent that you need some assistance in ridding yourself of this person completly - you are probably still communicating with this person
2- It appears that you are a person of faith & that you turn to the church for answers in troubled times.
3- It appears that this person has forced you to do something that you did not want to & you are angry about it. This is causing even violence from a character that would not normally endorse violence.

What I see here is the following:

You are/were in a highly abusive relationship.

You are/have not completely become comfortable with your power as an individual woman. thus you have not completly released this person from your life.

You are/were bieng forced to proform some act that is against your better judgement. I feel that this could be a sexual act based on the references of touching.

You are/want to be helped by the people who love you & you do not know how to express this - your dream is showing you that they already know what you need to tell them & you just need to ask for help.

In my opinion - you need to get away from this person & never communicate with them again. There are many organizations that can help you remove yourself from an abusive relationship. It is also appearent that you are shamed by the fact that you are afraid to ask your loved ones for help - which you should not be - that is what they are there for.

Do something now - before your life is out of control & the situation becomes dangerous.

Remember - the Sufi say that you are Beloved
Treat yourself like that & let no other treat you other than a Beloved

Peace & Love my fellow beloved & seek the help of your personal beloved before something disasterous happens.

Because this took place in a church it may have had something to do with "right" and "wrong". You said he cheated on you and hit you in waking life. In your dream he was harassing you and you were trying to fight him off. Other people saw this and didn't understand what was happening until you told them. When you told them they saw that he was in the wrong and protected you. I think you may have just wanted other people to recognize that he was bad to you and you need their support and protection.

Well to me it sounds like your sub-conscience hasn't completely let go yet. Maybe your conscience mind has let go, but there will always be a small part of you that still has feelings for him. Me and my BF broke up more than 6 monthes ago, and even though he is a complete αss hole to me, and even though I have mostly let go of him, there is this part of me who will always care for him the way I did when we were together. But honestly, I think that the only person who can truely interpret your dream is you.
