Hey. I'm a Yankees fan, but I fully respect the Red Sox, I'm not full of hatred like other Yankee fans are. I just wanna give you Red Sox some advice. Here is a list of the people that you should not have for next year in your roster. :

* Papelbon
* Crisp
* Wells (u shud trade him, you'll get some1 better)

Here are the people whom I think you should put on your "backup lineup," not your "regular lineup.":

*Willy Mo Peña
*Jason Johnson (you shud take him outta da starting rotation)

Also, I have a great feeling that if you guys do not make it to the playoffs this year, Manny Ramirez is going to the Free Agents list. It'll take a lot to convince him otherwise.

If you follow this advice for next year, you might just have yourself another WS win.

Also, I noticed what you are REALLY HAVING problems with are your outfield and starting pitchers. Before the new season begins, retreive yourself some new AND BETTER starting pitchers and outfielders.

keep an eye on beckett!

The first thing you need to do is stop smoking crack. It's bad for your teeth. Wells is gone. Papalbon is the best closer in the Junior Circuit right now, even if he plays for the 2nd most disgusting franchise in baseball. (pathetic Cubs are #1).

This guy is a moron. He's probably about 7.

Here's a real Yankee fan's opinion on the Sox roster.

1) Papelbon should be starting. Getting 70 innings out of a kid with his arsenal and talent as a closer is a waste. It's good this year, to help him build arm strength and get used to the grind, but you've GOT to get 200 innings out of his arm. Make him a starter.

2) Get rid of Coco Crisp. The guy is absolute trash. There are going to be plenty of upgrades available. Crisp belongs in the NL.

3) Keep Loretta and Lowell. Yes, Lowell's production has dropped over the last month or two, but he plays a great defensive third base, hits a ton of doubles and seems well fit to play at Fenway.

4) Find a real shortstop. And get a first baseman who can hit for power. First base is a power position and Youks isn't cutting it. It puts too much pressure on Ortiz and ManRam. Quite frankly, Manny needs some protection in that lineup. He has none now and the Yankees knew it. They just walked him during the 5 game set and pitched to whoever was behind him.

5) Beckett is not the answer you guys thought he was. He's another Florida Marlin who benefitted from playing in the soft-hitting NL, and pitching half his games in Dolphin Stadium. You have to keep him, but drop him in the rotation and bust your butts to sign a guy like Kevin Millwood or Mark Burlhe this offseason.

Having Schilling, followed by Burlhe, Papelbon and then Beckett would be very formidable. Beckett would match up a lot better versus other teams #4 starters.

I agree with some of the things you said, but Papelbon? Why get rid of him. Kid can flat out save games. He has what 33 saves, probably gonna set the rookie record. Also, we can NOT get rid of Coco. He has the best name in sports, and to boot, he is a quality CF. Good sight better arm than the Judas we HAD there last year.

You are right about ManRam. Thing is, who wants his monetary demands? Only two teams can afford him, and I can't see him in pinstripes.

As for Willy Mo, we need him simply cuz Trot will be in a new city next year,

And I'm not worried about Wells. He's hanging them up after the season.

I love it when Red Sox fans say Yankees will always suck. Yes, those 26 series championships (I think thats the number) sure do suck don't they.
I don't like the Yankees or Red Sox, but I respect the Yankees. The Red Sox get way way too much nationwide pub, get lost Red Sox and your goofy friends. Pissah!

papelbon is a def keeper. Manny... who knows, its like A-Rod.. how good is he really? Wells will be traded by tonight. And crisp.. well if he could stay healthy he would be a big improvement. Dont forget with starting pitching Roy Oswalt is now signed long term with the astro's so he's off the shopping list.

Yeah, Shut the hell up.

Not another Yankee fool thinking they know what's best for the Red Sox. I mean, the last one to win the World Series was the Sox.

i agree im a mets fan.

i think crisp should stay on the roster though for his defence. papelbon should be moved to the starting rotation, where he orginally was going. and yes i doubt manny will stay in boston if they don't make the playoffs two years in a row, which means big papi won't be too far behind. if manny leaves hes probably gonna go to the mets because the yanks have to many outfielders already and there were plans of him going there before.

beckett stinks-the two people who moved me from 1st to 6th in my 20-man fantasy league (with a prize!) were beckett and armas.

as a sox fan...i agree and disagree

i agree we should get rid of wells...i think we should get rid of jason johnson.....wells could bring some good pitchers...once wakefield is back...nixon....and dinardo...and clement the sox should be rolling.....

i think we should trade pena as well...but i think papelbon should be kept...crisp too....i think either crisp or cora should be traded......and when varitek comes back....lopez should be traded......preferrably for some pitching

some some moves i'd make would be to trade
wells
pena
lopez
johnson
cora/crisp

to at least get another bat and a pitcher
