break big jobs down into little ones

make lists and reward yourself for little jobs completed

look at the downside of not doing the work

examine reasons behind procrastination (what's holding you back?)

don't buy into that "I work better under pressure" stuff - most people work better when they have the work under control

It helps me to write down things that need to get done, prioritize them (1-5), 1 being the most important, and give each thing a deadline of when it should be done.

I do this at work, home, and for school assignments. It works for me. Also, if it is like a bill as soon as you get it, pay it off and get it out of the way for the month.

Hope this helps.

Have a positive attitude! Maybe you need to change things in your life such as... organize, clean, get more sleep, be less stressed. If you feel in control you will want to get things done, not put them off. Try and trick yourself into thinking it needs to be done earlier than it really does. Try and reward yourself for getting it done.

Use a planner and mark when the exam will be so that you can mark the days you want to study and the hours.
