You need to go back to the Doctor. I know what you mean about military Doctors. I am very firm when it comes to Care. You go back there and see your regular Doctor, explain what is going on and tell him you are not going home until he does an ultrasound and tells you what is going on. Call the OIC of the clinic and tell them the Doctor is not helping. Do not leave the clinic until you have answers. Scream and make a big fuss until you get your answer and you are satisfied with it. I learned the hard way with this Doctors. Every time I took my kids to the Hospital I felt it was a waste of my time. Until I started speaking up and not letting them get away with it. Now I do not let Nurse Practitioners or PA see us. I always request a Doctor.. Be firm and Good Luck!!

Youre alright. I promise you. Your second pregnancy sits different in your pelvis and doesnt feel the same as the first because the ligaments (epescially so soon after birthing your first) are still stretched and remember how to stretch more.
The popping is almost certainly your pelvis, and the feeling of the baby pressing against your cervix is totally normal. It really is okay and its not a cause for concern. Your little one is not going to come flynig out of you.
Dont stress over it. I promise you, i do not know a single second time mother who didnt feel this way. My aunt had her babies so close together that they were the same age for a month. She went through the same feelings, and the popping noise in her pelvic region, she also had pain for both, since both sat right on her nerve.
There is also a nerve that runs along your pelvis in that very region, and the weight of the uterus falls directly on it during some parts of pregnancy, and while it might not have in your last, it certainly sounds like it is now. It might last clear through, or it might stop as the baby grows.
I would try mopping on your hands and knees. It helps take the pressure of the uterus off the pelvis and back.
If youre super concerned about it, try going to a non military ER.

It's completely normal. I am almost 20 weeks pregnant with my 4th and had this with my 2nd and 3rd and just started feeling it with my 4th. It has happened sooner with each one. It got so bad with my 3rd I would actually grimace while I walked.
When you are pregnant your body produces a chemical called relaxin that helps prepare the body for labor. It actually is what helps open up the pelvic region. Having pain now, though, doesn't mean you are going into labor any time soon. It started around 30 weeks with my 2nd and he was a day late. It started at 24 weeks with my 3rd and she was born only 10 days early. I didn't take anything for it as I don't like taking medicine while pregnant.
By the way, we are military, too and have never had a problem with them. If they don't seemed concerned then you shouldn't either.

I had the same thing, I felt like my daughter was going to fall right out onto the floor. What is was was her moving down to give her more room. In doing so she go on my nerve down there and that is aweful painful in the next couple of months. walk strech and movement is the best thing. But oh my gosh did that hurt. And the feeling of dropping her on the floor never went away. But with this pregnancy labor went QUICK!!!!! Quick by first contraction 635 am born at 805. I didn't even make it to the hospital that i was supposed to. I left my house at 715 dropped my son off at my grandmothers and left for the hospital. on the way I had to detour to a smaller hospital that had a very small labor and delivery floor. (they deliver 3-5 babies a month)
From first contraction to having her it was like 1 hr and 35 mins.

Is it a burning sensation? I had that when I went into labor, and that is how I knew it was time to book it to the hospital. Seriously, that is not normal feeling to be having when your only six months along. unless you are going to deliver early...Have your doctor check it out because something bad could happen if you don't. Trust me I know from expericence. I delivered a baby seven weeks early and he was very sick. I was told that my son should have died, but my body went into early labor and thankfully he was born early so that they could do surgery on him. It saved his life. Think about it before you stay at home and end up having your baby there.

Sounds like Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction to me.
Your pelvic bone is kind of circular and goes around you to meet in the front. The two sides meet in the middle but don't touch. They are connected by fibrocartilaginous tissue reinforced by several ligaments. This area is called the Pubic Symphysis and is important in giving your body a wide range of movement. The Pubic Symphysis and the Sacro-Iliac joints (in the back of the pelvis) are especially important during pregnancy, as their flexibility allows the bones to move freely and to expand to help a baby fit through more easily during birth. In fact, the pregnancy hormones relaxin and progesterone help the ligaments of your body to loosen and be even MORE flexible than before, so that there is plenty of 'give' and lots of room for the baby to slip right through. Because of these hormones, it is normal for there to be some extra looseness and pelvic pressure in pregnancy. This is good---it means your body is getting ready for birth! Your body is just starting to do it really early since your pregnancies are so close together. It's loosening up to give you maximum space for baby to fit and flexibility for getting baby out when labor comes. However, in some women, either because of excessive levels of hormones, extra sensitivity to hormones, or a pelvis that is out of alignment, this area is extra lax or there is extra pressure on the joint.
Pubic pain, a popping sensation, sciatica, a "clicking" when you walk or round ligament pain are all common symptoms of SPD.
Seeing a chiropractor might help you. Sitting on a birth ball (exercise ball) or doing pelvic rocking might help some as well.

keep hounding the doc until he listens,
I had something similiar to this happen, I went to my chiropractor and he checked it and my pelvis was already loosening up for delivery, when I went back and told my doc about it, he agreed and did an ultra sound, the baby was fine and my pelvis was just loose from the first baby.
But you do need to get a solid answer, cause what happened for one person may not be what is happening here.
