I am 19 years old, I was suppose to start about 2 weeks ago and after 3 days I had not started yet so I took a EPT and it came out neg. then I waited till yesterday and took another one is said pos. so I went and bought one more and took it and it also said pos. I havent gone to the Doctor yet but, I called my parents and they are supportive, and my fiance' is scared of what his mom will say, she will more than likely blam it all on me and hate me like its all my fault, but my question is if I took 3 tests 2 pos. and 1 neg. does that mean I am positively preg.?

the first one you took may have been too early to come out positive. I would say you're pregnant, congratulations! If you're still not sure, go to your doctor, you'll have to go soon anyway. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Well, lol, looks to me that you have a 66.67% of being pregnant.

In all reality, the first test you took might have not shown positive because the ingestation period was not complete and you possibly were not pregnant at the time.

If the next two said positive, you are more than likely probably very pregnant. Take care of your body!

& Also, since your parents are so supportive, why don't you have your mom hook you up with her OB/GYN and you can go in and get a blood test, so you know the truth.

a positive is a positive......you are more likely to get a wrong negative than a wrong positive because the pregnancy hormone MUST be detected to get a positive. Maybe the test that came out negative was bad....or maybe not as sensitive as the others....Don't worry about your fiance's mom....she'll come around when she see's that little darling.....Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all kinds of questions. I am at 17 weeks and I refer to it almost dailly. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

Congratualtions!!! Yep you are pregnant. The first negative was probably due to the fact that you did it earlier and there wasn't enough of a marker for the test to come out positive. Since you waited a few days and took the test again the test was positive since there was a stronger presence of the pregnancy marker. I guarantee if you take the test again next week it will be positive.

If the first one was neg and the other two you took later were pos, then as long as you followed the directions right, I'd say you are PG. Congrats.

Yes it means you are pregnant. It was too early with the first test. You were still pregnant then but the level of HCG was too low to read on the test.

False positives are so very rare. Two false positives are impossible.

Congrats to you and good luck with your future mother-in-law.

Being so early on, it's possible that you did not have enough detectible hormones in your urine when you took the first test. I would venture to say that there is no doubt about you being pregnant. The best thing to do would be to go see your gyno. They'll tell you for sure!!! In the mean time, don't drink! As for your BF's mother... screw her. Who cares what she thinks. Let her have her nasty opinion of you. Just tell her to keep it to herself!

Yes you are pregnant
His mom needs to remember that it does take 2 people to make a baby
If neither one of you wanted a baby then you should already know what you both could have done to prevent it

I'd say, in all likelihood, you're pregnant.

You should go to the doctor and have a blood test just to make sure, but I'd pretty much say you're pregnant.

Congratulations and good luck!

you just didn't have enough hormones for the frist test to pick it up. Congrats! If your fiance's parent's dont agree to the child, then it is thier problem and not yours. Take it easy and try to aviod stressful situations.
