Absolutely!! You hit it right on the nose.

Bin Ladin only wanted the US out of the UAE. And that's all the other terrorists want... for the US to get out of their country and their business.

The US, specially Repulicans presidents, love to meddle in foriegn affairs, even if they know nothing about it like W. They subvert, assasinate, deceive, threaten, make war, and all the other things that piss common people off. There would be no terrorism if every country minded their own business.

Typical ignorance. The US had a big role in the IRA bombings in England didn't it? The US was also heavily involved in Basque terrorism in Spain right? And we must have stirred up the Tamil Tigers against India and the Chechnyans against Russia. Terrorism is a larger scale now, but it is no different than when American Indians burned homes or murdered colonists to get them off their land. Its just publicized and on a larger-scale. Terrorists are little guys up against someone bigger and stronger. Their only option is to be cowardly and sneaky and kill innocent people. When they go toe-to-toe they lose.

And when you are as powerful as the US you are going to try to "meddle" in the affairs of other countries to promote your own interests. You'd be stupid not to. Every country tries to meddle. And you are stupid if you think the US doesn't try to meddle in the affairs of China and Russia.

You sound to me like someone who is trying to justify the actions of terrorists by blaming their actions on America. Islamic acts of terror were in existence long before Columbus ever sailed. Usually it was directed at each other, so please don't blame the actions of terrorists on the US.

Yes, and when the Kurds were demonstrating about their treatment at the hands of Sadamm Hussein outside the conference of every political party over twenty years ago they were ignored.
The reason is now well known, as the arms industry in the USA and UK were supplying him with weapons with of course the blessing of the two government's.
We in the UK are now suffering the legacy of that incompetence and greed. Don't ever forget that the current leaders of the three main parties are all pro American that is why we are in a continual state of conflict and threat!
As for China and Russia, well most of our goods are now made in China by British or American companies with a high profit return. (weekly wage in China £17.00.) Also, both countries possess nuclear weapons so the two bully boys will try their luck elsewhere
and we suffer as a result. Nothing ever changes does it!

Terrorism is historically very old, and remember we in Britain suffered much at the expense of the IRA in recent years. You could give hundreds of reasons concerning terrorism, and people often blame religion, while in fact they are using it as an excuse. It used to be Catholic and Protestant threats, nowadays it's Muslim against every other religious sect or cult.

The truth is the very fact that the united States states"In God We Trust" Do these words have any meaning for the average American or anyone. Because God is against all wars and He sent Jesus Christ to die on the Cross to Save us from our sins.
So if you want answers, read the Bible, it answers everything you want to know. Now it appears we are living in the last days because of everything that is going on in the world has been prophesied by Christ and Gods Prophets, to ignore these warnings means people are in denial. After all there was terrorism in Biblical days.

The truth is in God's Word and if you sincerely approach God and turn your life over to Him, he will reveal everything to you. His Holy Spirit will give you guidance and you'll be able to tell what is right and what is wrong. Once you experience Jesus in your life, you know that nothing at all will ever destroy that relationship. Give God a chance if you need proof.

Russia and China both have veto votes on the UN Security Council - the US tries to keep the peace there as much as is possible. Even though we don't see eye to eye on every issue, we just agree to disagree sometimes.

International terrorism has been around for centuries - the Arab/Muslim world has been practicing on each other for as long as history has been documenting it. It's the scale of the acts that have been increased in recent years.

Once that the Arab world got it into their heads that we could do pretty much what we wanted to and did not pray to THEIR god, that they turned their attentions toward us. We do not follow THEIR customs either - and that makes them nuts! (We actually allow women to walk around with their legs showing and their heads uncovered!! next thing you know we'll allow our school children to dress in low-cut jeans with their tummies showing, too!)

These people are filled with real hate toward those of us who just try to get along and co-exist. With the Arab countries it is "Their way or NO way! They will not allow any middle ground to exist - and that means us!

Yes. Before 1776, the world was a blissfully happy place, where death hadn't yet been invented (ironically, Benjamin Franklin, the evil American who invented death, was one of the first to die after catching pneummonia whilst performing unspeakable acts with a chicken in the snow). The Romans had conquered all of Europe and the Mediterrannean coastal fringe through ther unstoppable charm, their good looks and their natty line in leather skirts. Everyone wanted a piece of that Roman action, so willingly laid down their arms. We Brits gained our empire through exploiting the natives desire for a really good cup of tea.

the use of fear as a tactic to control an enemy has been around as long as the world itself, so no. Look at the vikings, the would come into and destroy your village. It got to the point that when the vikings were coming, they would leave stuff, money food whatever they could, on the banks of the river and hope it was enough to please them, fearful of loosing their home. If it was the vikings went on their way. Just one very old example.
