Although i'm English, i find that parts of england are very boring and strange, but the majority isn't. people seem to have a misconception that the english are all posh and rude, but there not. Also, i personally think london is boring, its the same as every other city in england, just... bigger.

No way. My trip to England in 1989 was the best vacation I've ever had! I loved Stratford on Avon and the small town where some of my extened family members live. London and the theatres there are absolutely the best. I was 15 and didn't appreciate it as much as I enjoyed flirting with foriegn guys.

England has wonderful traditions and history.
At this point, it is boring to me.
The people can be grand and entertaining or stifling and boring.
The main thing the English need to do is to reestablish the excitement they had in the '60's and '70's through innovation.
No country can remain interesting if they stand on tradition alone.

I love Great Britain!
I love the people, the food, the country and the city.
The history, the culture...and certainly the variety of music, from the Beatles to the London Symphony Orchestra.

My whole family think England and the people there are quite charming. Our ex-son-in-law, Terry, is one of the finest examples of such.
