I need some help...
We have the opportunity to either get married or have new windows - Cannot have both as cant afford both.
I really want to get married but there would be no money left over to pay for new windows.
We need windows as we have wooden ones at the moment that let in the cold etc..
Wouldnt be able to save up either
Is a possibility his dad will pay for windows next yr.....
What do we do?

Get married. Buy or make curtains to insulate your windows and decorate your home.
We hung old blankets to start with. It wasn't "pretty", but it was functional.

Get both. Why does everyone feel the need to spend so much on a marriage. Marriages can range from 70 bucks to 2.5 million(I saw it on E!). The most important thing is that you have the right person.

Get the windows. You love each other. What difference is a piece of paper make? Of course maybe with taxes or health care.

Weddings don't have to cost a fortune. Go to Justice of the Peace and have a dinner party afterwards. Then get those windows.

Get married by the JOP and have a pot luck wedding at your home that will feature your much needed brand new windows,

Just go to the courthouse and have the J.O.P. marry you two. The leftover $$ can be for the windows. Good Liuck!!

Replace the windows...this year its a tax write off. Wait til the new year and use your tax refund to get hitched.
