That's a good question. Maybe he or she just wants to see if his or her thinking is the same as everyone else's, if he or she is thinking rationally, if he/she has considered all the information and can then make an informed decision. I am not sure he or she has made a decision. If someone posts that he or she is thinking about committing suicide, do you really think he or she wants to do that? No. It is a cry for help. So I am not convinced that every person who posts questions on here, myself included, has made up his or her mind on a particular issue.

Actually i believe that u ask someone 4 his opinion after making up ur mind in order 2 be sure u made the right thing i do that alot
Offcourse it makes me feel good when his or her opinion was simillar like mine and it makes me think again if he or she told me something may be i havent thought about.

I've noticed that alot of people on this forum do that. It is as if they need to have others validate what they themselves believe. Then they usually (but, not always) choose an answer that matches their opinion whether that opinion is based in fact or not.

I've found it rather annoying and have just started avoiding those types of questions as they are really just a waste of my time.
