Yes, while I was working at a hardware store.
I was trying to move a large stack of chairs on a
wheeled flat when the strapping I was pulling on
gave way and I went flying back and hit my back on some iron pipes sticking out. I couldn't move for a few minutes.

Yep, I was a cashier at a "home depot" type place - not home depot though... and while scanning, sliding and placing a bag of manure into a cart i turned funny and something popped and I have a pernanent numb spot in my leg now because I really don't want the surgery to fix it. If I have the surgery it will fix the issue but it doesn't really bug me that bad, I suppose if someday it does I will go under the knife for it but for now, I'm good...

As a nurse yes i did. I was off sick for 3 weeks, two hospital appts, pain killers galore and was told by a smirking matron that it went with the job. Years later someone i knew, who had also hurt her back, tried to get compensations but was turned down so i didn't try to seek any either! My back's been bad since and i now have arthritis from the bottom of my back down.

Yup, pulled at muscle between my shoulder blades working at Lilian Vernon. They suct about the whole thing, it's a factory for old lady stuff.

My back is ROYALLY screwed up, but I don't think it stemmed from work. But rather my inability to say no to playing sports.
