Next Thursday night we will be in CT. Not sure where we want to stay yet, either New Haven or Mystic. It is just for the one night beore we head to Salem MA. Anyone know of any nice places in either town that we might consider. We were looking at the New Haven Hotel and that got poor reviews on TripAdvisor. Also looked at the Steamboat Inn in Mystic. Some help please?

We are looking for someplace nice and clean. No flea-bag motels but since it just for a night, it doesn't have to be a 5 star either.

I would just stay at the Marriot. I think it's called the Courtyard in New Haven.

Check Marriot.com, you can serch all their "hotel family" locations. Like, Courtyard, etc. They are run by Marriot so you know they'll be good and clean, because of the name. However, they aren't a full Marriot, so you get them pretty cheap. If I was you, I'd pick Mystic. There's more to do there and better places to eat. Also, I know there is a Courtyard there, which is pretty cheap.
