It really depends on the look you want. If you want a natural look, go for the earthtones. Start with a light tan base color from the base of your eyelashes to the brow. Next, use a dark brown color in the crease of your eye. Start on the outer corner of the lid and follow the natural contour of your eye. Lastly, put a medium shade of brown or taupe on the lid. Use a dark brown eyeliner on the top and just under the lashes on the bottom. Always wear black mascara...I recommend Voluminous by L'Oreal or Definicils by Lancome.

If you want more of an evening look, use purples or plums in the same technique I described above. Always be sure to coordinate your blush and lipcolor with your eyes. For example, use an earthtone blush and lipstick with earthtone eyes.

No lipcolor is a horrible mistake. Think of your lipcolor as the signature to your portrait.

Try wearing something light, whether it is blue, purple, or neutral. And anything with a little shimmer is always flattering. Apply the lightest color the corner of your eyes and right below your eyebrows. Then the second to lightest color goes on your lid. The darkest color is to be applied to the crease. Don't bother blending until all the colors are on. Then take a big powder brush and close your eyes and blend them together. Try using a dark brown eyeliner instead of black. It is a subtle touch. I hope this helps.

Stick with more naturals, like light browns and rust, and beige for your eyes, and light tan colored lipstick would work well with your hair/eyes too. Stay away from pinks, which ussually go for blonde/blue. Also go with more brown blush instead of pinks, since pinks will probably look too fake on you. Go with a lip liner slightly darker then the lipstick, you'll be impressed with the results! Dark brown mascara too! and don't forget a light brown or tan eye liner for around your eyes and eyebrows. Bronzers will light up your face and make it a focus point, without over doing your look. Good luck!!

Wow, you sound exactly like me! I would use this alamay called play up. It has really natural colors made just to accent your dark features. They have a whole line just for brown eyes, one for green, etc. The one for girls with brown eyes has a purple you put on your eye lid, a dark brown to accent it, and a light brown to draw attention to your eyes. I use it everyday, and it works great.. Oh, and if you're not quite sure how to put it on, they have a diagram on the back. Good luck!

Darker Neutral colors would look the best. Browns, tans, and maybe once and awhile you could throw in a little silvery bronze. Cover Girl has great eye shadows and even a little sparkle to them.

i have pretty much the same. i usually wear purple and natural looking colors but if you wanna be exotic then try lining you entine bottom lid in black and about halfway on your top lid, after linign with the black then add a little bit of goldish colors at the inner part of your eye. Another thing that i personally do is to add a nice teal to the outer edges of my eyes to make them "POP"

i like giving my models a naural look-im only an makeup artist- and i prefer for you a visible, but thin line of eyeliner. but first apply a natural peach colored eyeshadow to lashline and an natural color up to brow, but you dont have to do the brow eyeshadow. use a nice volumizing mascara and use loreal paris true match foundation by dotting on your chin, nose, cheecks and forhead, then apply powder to t-zone if wanted. then add a nice natural blush. orange blush is the best for anyone because you can also apply it to your brow bone and give a warm, beautiful but natural look.
