Well, I just crashed my car into a cement wall last night, I folded all the back of the car leaving just 2 cms before it would have crushed the petrol tank. I escaped with just a bad case of whiplash so, I'm sort of counting my lucky stars and thanking God for the fact that he kept me alive!

Obviously God loves you more than He loves your MP3 player. You can get another MP3 player eventually, but if you have a serious injury, you may never get your good health back. Consider yourself lucky that the only a thing was broken instead of you.

God does not hate you. Maybe next time you'll pay attention to what you're doing & where you place your feet. Once you get a replacement, maybe you should consider leaving it at home or in the car while you shop.
