I can delete the toolbar temporarily thru the View dropdown, but it reappears every time I open IE.

on the explorer
tools, internet options, programs, manage add ons and then disable it and anything else you see that you need to get rid of. You can also disable programs that start when you boot your computer by choosing start, run, type in msconfig, and uncheck any start-up programs like yahoo messenger etc. It will make your computer boot faster.

right-click any free area of ur internet explorer may be near the windows messenger icon and uncheck the yahoo toolbar, so it won`t start unless u restart it the same way.

go to control panel under add remove programs yoy will find a way to uninstall yahoo toolbar uninstall it and this way yu can prevent it from loading in your browser

remove it by, going to start menu then control panel, add/remove programs
or simply hide it by going to view/ toolbars, uncheck yahoo toolbars

right-click on the gray space beside the address bar, and uncheck the toolbar you want removed.
