No. They simply train them to hide more carefuly.

Of course they get rid of them! That's why they are called "exterminators."

My father is an exterminator and he gets rid of all the bugs out of my house.... I have him caome every spring and he does a light spray set a couple traps and I dont see the bugs again...until spring when they try to set up new nests.....he gets rid of mice also, but I havent ever had them......I would imagine that if he came and laid out the traps and then came back to get them you wouldnt have a problem again...

If they don't, the exterminator will have to come back. There should be some mention of a guarantee in your service agreement.

Of course - otherwise they would never get a repeat customer or a yearly service contract.

They know when to use traps and what to bait them with and when to use poison or glueboards. If you just buy that stuff at Home Depot you don't know how to get great results.
