I was just wondering people's thoughts on the idea that it was just a huge government conspiracy. I have watched the movie Loose Change and I have to say it does raise questions. I just don't understand why our government would even do something like that. Who thinks it is a terrorist act or what do you think the deal is? I'm just curious as to other people's thoughts, I don't want to offend anyone or anything, I think it was a terrible thing and my ♥ goes out to everyone who lost someone, I'm just wondering about all the info that seems fishy. Thank you and please no stupid or rude comments. Thanks!♥

I would have to agree with some of the comments placed here that our goverment failed us...I think it could have been prevented and perhaps they did not take matters more seriously. I love the USA and remain ever faithful to it but the fact of the matter is that this is not the first time nor will it be the last time that our goverment has been involved in some kind of conspiracy and I do believe that they do keep way too many things secret from the public

I have heard the same story. I'm a bit confused as to why would our government let our people get killed for what purpose? I strongly believe that Osama Bin Laden is the true idiot behind these murders of all the innocent people. My heart also goes out to the ones who were killed and the families left behind to pick up the pieces. If our government was indeed somehow involved and didnt stop it, then they should pay as well. Americans shouldn't have to worry if the our own government is against us ya know?

now it seems the American people won't even risk their credit ratings, student loans, the next piece of ***, or a sideways glance from people who look at them like AIDS patients for daring to deviate from the corporate, media-instilled norm. We have come a long way backward. Rodney King's "Can't we all just get along" has become the modern day theme song for the surrender of America's character, and the L.A. Rebellion of 1992 was probably the last flame of will to fight injustice in American history.
This new quiescence comes at a time when US crimes are far worse and more far-reaching than they were in 1970; certainly in the eyes of the world. In 2001 the US government both facilitated and executed the attacks of 9/11 against its own people, killing thousands of its citizens as an excuse to launch a neo-imperial conquest for energy. A few Americans held small rallies, organized some ineffective groups, bought a few hundred thousand books and DVDs, listened to a few radio programs and lectures, and then quietly lined up to have their bags, emails, credit histories, minds and bodies searched. Critical mass was never achieved as Executive Orders along with the Patriot and Homeland Security Acts shredded the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th Amendments to our Bill of Rights.

I truly hope they are wrong about the government conspiracies. I really believe it was terrorists, but how did they become terrorists? I often wonder if they were provoked by the government. I guess there is no way to know but I will always wonder. I place the blame on the terrorists because they have done it before and they need to be stopped. Also anyone who answers you with a nasty response is lashing out because he/she doesn't want to look at this from another perspective, and that is very sad indeed.

There a re thousands of unanswered questions and very little public debate. What made WTC7 collapse after a short fire? Why did the buildings owner, Larry Silverstein, give the instruction to 'pull it' just before it fell. Why was Bush allowed to sit in a classrom for 25 minutes when secret service protocol says to hide him immediately? Why was the steel exported and recycled without any tests? Why were investigators banned from ground zero? How did a pilot with no experience and poor skills fly a fully loaded 757 only 2 metres from the ground, and where did the wings and tail go?

Until people drag this into the light, and have open and honest discussions about it, there will be no truth.

EDIT

THe US Govt in the Norwood documents had clear plans to kill its own citizens, look it up. Also, it isn't just the whacky left. There's ex-cia, military generals, MIT scientists and people from all walks of life that believe that the towers were demolished.

I also placed a question like this on here and many people has answered me with rude comments and telling me that I am this and that. People will believe what they want because they take the 911 attack very seriously and some even start to hate people from Iraq or people from that region. To me after viewing the Loose Change video, I thought that the government planned the whole idea of a "terrorist attack" just to get oil or have something to do. Now I do not know what their idea is in doing this, but it has gave America a whole new look on their governments. People who say that I am wrong or dumb, please watch the video first. Planes did crash into the two buidings and it did fall, BUT the video shows in very small details that the government DID NOT explain on live television.

I really don't think that we would do that to ourselves. You have to understand that loose change is just a movie, Just like in wag the dog, it will bring on questions...like wow...what if? If it was a government conspiracy then the ten planes that were stopped not to long ago would have hit us too.

I would like to avoid an argument, but I have questions that have not been answered yet, and I will say that it could have been prevented entirely, or at least in part. Our government failed us and I believe there is more to the picture than we want to believe.

Trace back the relationship between all the key players in this incident. Ask yourself where Saddam got his weapons, ask what business associations were in play before the 9/11 and what investments are held by those key players...you'll start formulating your own questions.

By the way, governments have been killing their own people for years. Even the USA...ever heard of Agent Orange?

Don't get your history lesson from movies. They're never right about anything. The terrorist are trying to kill us and that was just one of many tries. They will try again and again until they kill all of us unless we stop them by killing them. It's a cruel world and it's not going to get any better for a long time. Face it, we are in WW III. The liberals want you to think the government kill Americans so you will vote for them next time.

It is good that you are seriously thinking about this. I tend to beleive it's a government conspiracy, or at least one perpetrated by W and his goons. Mybe not all of it, but a good portion of it is.

If you study history and what Hitler and his nazis did with the very democratic pre WW2 Germany, you'll understand. Hitler faked a huge attack on the german parliment and blamed it on terrorists. Then he compromised civil liberties, saying he needed better weapons to fight the terrorists. Sound familiar?

The bottom line is, if you are asked to compromise the hard fought civil rights in this country, beware, someone is dealing dirty.
