Bursitis is inflammation of a bursa. A bursa is a sac of fluid around a joint. The shoulder is a common place to get bursitis.

There are packets of fluid behind your knee caps called Bursa. They act as shock absorbers for the knee joints. When they become infected or inflammed, it is a condition known as Bursitis.

I've never had it, but I've heard it can be quite painful.

it's simular to arthritis but it's in your knees, elbows and shoulders instead of you hands
