I already have 4 cartilidge piercings. They are in areas where I can still fit an industrial piercing. I understand the gauge of an industrial is a bit bigger, but would I still be able to handle it since I already can take regular cartilidge piercings? Regular cartilidge piercings don't really hurt and go by pretty quick (but then again, I got them done witha piercing gun, not a needle).

you need to go to a piercing/tattoo shop and get it professionally done. Piercing guns are not sanitary for one. and two you won't be able to fit a industiral barbell through there without it hurting a lot and a big chance of infection. I would go and talk to a professional piercer..and its different with a larger gauge because my friend got it done around 5 months ago (and said it hurt like a biatch) its still not fully healed and hurts occasionally but its supposed to still be healing.

hope this helps :)

you'll need to have a prominent ridge (helix) to support an industrial piercing. Only a professional piercer is going to be able to look and tell you yes or no so head down to a shop and talk to them. A standard industrial will be 14g and a piercing stud (which btw are absolutely horrible for you, as is using a piercing gun) is around 18-16g.

I basically have been given mine carried out final night and it did no longer injury in any respect. i'm the main important toddler interior the international, and it somewhat did no longer injury. i might say it somewhat is extra of an uncomfortable adventure than a painful one. as quickly as I have been given there i became freaking out, my coronary heart became pounding and all i might desire to think of approximately became the extensive needle. So I went in, she marked me up and then asked if it became a sturdy placement (and it became) and then she clamped me. The clamp felt like somebody pinching you in spite of the shown fact that it somewhat did no longer injury. She moved it up and down which streched it somewhat yet nonetheless no discomfort. Then she placed the needle as much as my epidermis ( which i might desire to experience the factor of) and instructed me she wasn't going to do something yet she became basically resting there. the top wasn't that sharp on my epidermis it basically felt like a mechanical pencil tip. Then I took a deep breath and he or she pushed it in which i did no longer experience in any respect until I observed it in my epidermis. She circled, placed the clamp down, and then placed the jewl on the top of the needle which went in jointly as she became pulling it by using. Then she wiped clean me up and that i've got a eye-catching abdomen button. believe me if i will try this, every physique interior the international can try this, i'm this type of woose! the only section that injury nevertheless, became after it is going to sting somewhat once you sit down or upward thrust up, in spite of the shown fact that it is not something undesirable in any respect. i'm hoping you get yours carried out, it somewhat is rather well worth it! ( I had my nostril pierced until now and the tummy button hurts way under your nostril!)

and...yea it hurts. of course it hurts. that's to be expected.
