I got it from the library and read it about 10 years ago. The book seemed pretty old then, so I think it was written quite a while ago.

The plot - In the beginning of the book all the females on earth suddenly disappear and the men and boys are left alone trying to figure out what happened to them and keep things going without them.

Later in the book we find that the women are living on a parallel earth where all the males have disappeared and they are also trying to figure out what happened and cope with their new world.

This book was very good. I wish I could remember the name. Do you know it?

That sounds exactly like an episode of fairly odd parents lol. Not joking, really.

I had never heard about this book, but your summary looks very appealing. Thanks to Cristiano for the title. I will look for it. And thanks to you for the question. A very good one.
