I have a friend from the south who has lived in NYC for about six years now. She never had a racist bone in her body toward african-americans. However, since coming to NYC she, for the most part, does not like them anymore as they come across very irreverent to themselves and other people. African Americans I have meet in the south or outside of NYC I should say, have been very polite and nice. I sort of agree with her. I know this isn't true for all people and I take everyone at face value and nice people are nice people no matter what race they are and vice versa.

She runs into these people everyday and over time this is what has built up. This is not a one day quick observation.
I like to call the 4/5 subway train Amistad Slave Ship because it appears as if it bringing in all the black people from Brooklyn to work in the city.
