There are a lot of theories paired with animals and humans. In my opinion, I think the tribesmen were sensing their animals. (crazy as it sounds) I think they were around their livestock enough to know their patterns of behavior, and recognize when they were feeling "stressed".

wow this is so interesting! I never knew that
I found myself becoming sensitive to the stuff like that lately: I heard a person talking on the cell phone and i suddenly felt SO restless and mad, i felt like snatching the phone away from that person's hand! it was such an uncommon feeling in me, the feeling of spite.
Surprised, I refrained myself from that, wondering what was wrong with me. 1 minute later the second person on the phone got into a terrible car crash, because he was driving. And it happened because of the cell phone.
I have many similar examples, it started happening to me by some reason.
I think one could develop that, i would like to develop that.
So that i can earn money by playing lottery, lol :)

We can learn from them.But this should be done with great care or we are going to mix up everything.We modern people have different needs and don't have the fears of ancient people.Well,it was very interesting.on Yahoo answers you learn new things everyday.

I do believe that we do have this since to almost smell danger. God, I believe gave us all this great gift, But with the world moving so fast it's hard for us to detect this since sometimes. But it is in us as Humans. We all have it, some people have it more then other people also.

not anymore psychic than any of the rest of us. they are just more in tune with their environment. those of us who are more 'civilized' have blocked out a lot of our natural talents, but they are still there.

It is possible.
Some people are tuned differently than others and can pick up things that others can't see or feel.
