I suppose because they aren't Christians, Muslims or them.
Even Franklin's dad, Billy Graham doesn't agree with him:
Billy in interview :
. He is sure and certain of his faith in Jesus as the way to salvation. When asked whether he believes heaven will be closed to good Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus or secular people, though, Graham says: "Those are decisions only the Lord will make. It would be foolish for me to speculate on who will be there and who won't ... I don't want to speculate about all that. I believe the love of God is absolute. He said he gave his son for the whole world, and I think he loves everybody regardless of what label they have."
Television evangelists Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson said that liberal civil liberties groups, feminists, homosexuals, pagans, and abortion rights supporters bear partial responsibility for the terrorist attacks on the USA because their actions have turned God's anger against America. (17 September 2001) Since then both have called Katrina and the tsunami Gods punishments.
Falwell and Robertson are content with with the event of a world war as they believe it will result in Armageddon and the second coming of Christ. They want everyone dead who doesn't believe in their brand of Christianity.

Those people are not Christians. They are simply business people who cater to the taste of their customers. They have identified (such as Ann Coulter has identified) their market segment and serve up what the people want to hear. This has nothing to do with believe or Christianity and especially nothing to do with love-thy-neighbor. It is simply business. They live of the ratings and the advertisement. Of their book and their speeches.
As soon as they have seen that the (grotesquely uneducated) majority of the American public responds to xenophobia, they seized the opportunity and satisfy their customers.
As simple as that.
