check the link below shows all the supported media by all the new ipods. they are in the categories audio, photo, and video.

for photos, iPod supports JPEG Images.......

for videos, the iPod has to convert your video collection to a format that is recognisable by it(which is .mp4)....... You can convert your video's in the newest version of iTunes or use many of the third party apps available today!
