I don't think if you tell him that he'll stop being your bestfriend, however if you start dating her have sex and then break her heart i'm sure he would. If you really like her and if you keep premarital sex out of it things could possibly work out well. If I were a guy, I'd much rather see my sister with a friend that respects her than with a stranger who may or may not do so.

I wouldn't go near your best friends little sister. There are far too may fish in the sea for you to opt for your friends sis. If things don't work out between you and this girl, then you run the risk of losing your best friend. So now you need to ask yourself if it's really worth the risk.

OK OK OK i was in the same exact situation but lets c my best friend was 1 year older then me and his step brother was my age and i really liked him .....A LOT and i had no clue what the hell i was supposed to do.....lol so i was "brave" and i asked my best friend i was like so ummm would it effect our friendship if i went out with your step brother and he was like surprised at first and then he was OK with it so we went out and then it got kinda weird and stuff so i broke up with him and it was cool ....all good because we were still friends and everything turned out good so i would ask him what he thought since its his little sister? but go ahed and ask !!!!!! if hes not ok with it then you have a desision to make .....GOOD LUCK
