Lately when I look down from my brothers apartment balcony from the 18th floor, I get squeamish in the stomach because i am not enclosed in anything. It feels like my knees get weak. In Montreal, there is a rollercoaster called the Goliath. It goes up 153 metres slowly. I've went on it in June, but I couldnt bare the height. I am going back on it this Saturday, and I really want to go on it again, but I dont want to get to nervous because of the height. Please help me overcome this fear. Thanks.

The best way to overcome fear is to keep exposing yourself to what you are afraid of. You will learn that there is nothing to fear and it will go away. Go on the rollercoaster again.

Hi. The fear is your mind's way of warning you that your body may be in danger. Realize this, thank your mind, and then do whatever activity your intellect says is safe.

Bad news.
You will never get over this fear, it is part of us, it is instinctive as a safety mechanism, just like touching fire.
you just have to get used to it, it will take time but you will never get over this fear.
Even the skyscraper builders have this fear, they just get used to it, but took a long time.
