Exploitation of any group is abbhorable, whether it is now the Oil producing countries or the earlier imperialist countries of the West.

Look at the terrorists, many of them were trained & sponsored by the former USSR to counter American influence in the middle east (via Israel).

Economic exploitation always has social implications. One could argue that poverty begets anger begets violence. However at the end of the day, everyone makes a conscious decision on whether to hate, and turn that hate into acts of terror.
