Why do you say "cut and run" like it was a bad thing.
If your holding a 7-high set of nothing and you suspect someone is holding a straight-flush, do you go all-in?
If you were invested in Enron after the shennanigans were discovered and the company was shown to be a failure, would you have stayed in so that all the money you lost wouldn't have been in vain?
Did we gain anything by staying in Viet Nam after Tet?
If we did leave Iraq, couldn't we then use that $300,000,000 per day that we are spending there and put that to, oh, say, finding Bin Laden? Protecting our borders WITHOUT dismantling the freedom that we are trying to save? Refunding our schools, our libraries, our healthcare? Positioning ourselves for a future without oil?

Good question. I would like to see an answer to this one. Still, you make it a little hard if they can't choose Cut & Run.
So many people on this website like to boast how the Left will be dominating the government after the 2008 elections. Hopefully they have a solution then, because at that point they will be in charge and responsible for everything. Saying, "that's your mess, you solve it" won't cut it with the American people.

I can't answer the liberal left part, but I think the politicians(both parties)should shut up and let the military do it's job without interference,we are at war and should finish the job,not leave it halfway,If we want any friends in Iraq when this is over we need to finish the job.

People used to be for the war...before they knew how much Bush lied about it...
But I digress...Liberals have been saying what they want to do...you just don't feel like listening...
Remember that 911 commission thing...they gave a bunch of recommendations that the Bush administration kind of just ignored...well Dems want to start by following that...
We think wiretapping is a great idea...just as long as you get a COURT ORDER to do it..you know like it says you have to in the constitution.....
In Iraq....it's obvious that what we're doing is not working...we're simply making the place more unstable...time to leave...and guess what...majority of Americans think so too...

Neither side has a solutions, it is a day to day winging it.
The biggest problems is most of our population hang on the party line. They still haven't woken up to the fact NEITHER side represent them. Neither party has clue how to solve any of the problems. They just hope they will be out of office before the S*H*I*T hits the fan.
Name calling is just an extending on how people in general respond to things they can't answer. It is just to shut you up, just like people using fake % to make a point. All that does is put their credibility in the toilet. LOL
