It was a "lobe" that Van Gogh, not Picasso, cut off to send to his current heartthrob, hoping to impress her.
I bet your "lob" is editing a dictionary, isn't it. That would make you fairly desperate. And your boss would be tearing her hair out.
Or maybe it is a "lob" that is a gentle toss, as in lobbing a ball.into a net.
Also, there is a VAST difference between over come and overcome.
